Join us for a night under the stars at the location that works best for you!
Pinewood Reservoir is located close to Carter Lake in the foothills of the Rockies. An easy drive from Longmont, Loveland and Berthoud, it offers easily accessible views of the night sky at an elevation of about 6,500’.
Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park are located about an hour drive west of Loveland and Longmont. This area offers some of the best viewing conditions with dark skies mostly free of light pollution and elevations from about 7,000’ to 10,000’+.
Private Residence Stargazing is offered at your own house. This option is best for those living (or renting) in the mountains or the wide open plains. Light pollution around the cities and tall nearby objects can severely limit visibility of celestial objects.
Custom Stargazing is a program tailored to you! If you’d like to host a business gathering or other large group, or if you want access to a telescope on your next backpacking trip, or even if you’d like to try out astrophotography, then contact us at Peakstargazing@gmail.com and we’ll work with you to see what’s possible.
Cancellation and Weather Policy -
Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable. If we are unable to run your program due to weather, we will do our best to rebook you for another night.
Only Peak Stargazing will determine if the program needs to be cancelled due to poor weather or excessive cloud cover. If your program is cancelled due to weather, we will not charge you for the program. We do offer partial refunds in the event that cloud cover prevents us from running the full program.
No refunds will be given if the customer decides to cancel within 48 hours of the program.
Peak Stargazing charges a 10% administrative fee if the customer decides to cancel or rebook the program outside the 48 hour window.
